My Little slice of krazy!
It has been almost 6 years since my last post? I doesn’t seem like it has been that long. Time is going fast and lots has changed. I got laid off from the company I worked for almost 10 years. Found a new job that I have been there a little bit over 2 years. I have made myself an important cog of the new company I work for. Taking on lots of projects and lots of P.O.C.s. Will update soon, I promise it will not be 6 years this time.
So I got talked into giving this a try by the kids. They were like “Get it, we will play with you, it will be fun!”. So I got it. And I am enjoying playing it but guess what? They not once played a game with me. I have almost leveled up to 950 already without their help. But that’s ok I found a clan to play with and I am having fun, despite them not playing with me. Guess they are just scared of these old man skills. Hahahahahah
So after talking with some friends at work I thought I would dip my toes in the Cryptocurrency Mining ocean to see how I can do. I have friends that are making a extra $1300 – $2000 a month doing this. So I am starting slow with mining from our 2 AMD FX 8320 8 Core CPUs and 2 old AMD Radeon HD 7700 Graphic Cards at home. So far I have not made a lot of money but I have made some. I am doing about a extra $80.00 a month right now. The thing is to save up what I make and buy more stuff that makes more money and so on. It might take some time but I really want to be at extra$1k’s as soon as we can so this help out with the the payments we have.
Right now we are doing Nice Hash (http://nicehash.com) which is a multi-currency mining software that watches the prices of the cryptocurrencies and mines what is making the best profit. I am also mining Zoin right now which seems to be pretty stable and rising slowly. It is pretty easy to start doing and can be fairly profitable pretty fast.
Crypto mining is getting pretty popular due to the media coverage it is getting on CNN and other business and stock channels. If anybody is interested please feel free to ask me how to get started on this and I can share as much information on how to do this.
Rsync Command
rsync (remote sync) is used to transfer data between two servers. it is basically a remote synchronization tool which helps to copy or synced data from one machine to another machine. it is a Unix-Linux based tool.
Benefits of Rsync command:
Rsync is a very useful tool for system admins because every sysadmin should use this command at list once in a day. It has many benefits we will see some of them important points.
1. Rsync efficiently sync files to and from systems.
2. It is faster sync tool than any other syncing tools like SCP.
3. It has the feature of incremental data transfer means it will not sync data which is already available on another system.
4. Rsync has provided progress of data transfer which is also plus. you will know how much data is copied and how much is remaining.
5. when sending and receiving data rsync will use compression and decompression method. It comes with benefits of using less bandwidth.
6. Rsync will copy everything as it is which means sync links, owner, permission, groups.
Not Good. The wife has been sick for about a week now. She got the cooties from someone she works with. I am blaming Tami on this. I try and take the best care of her that I can but it is hard when she wont lay down and rest. I might have to have her knocked out so she can finally get some rest. That’s right it is that time of the year already. It’s our first anniversary. Nikki and I have been married for a whole year, where did the time go? Who would have thunk it that 2 people that meet just by being sarcastic would be such a good couple? We had our ups and downs in very beginning when we first started talking but when I found out what was really going on I was the one to come back to her. Then we started talking and doing the long distance relationship knowing that she would be moving to Texas very soon. We found each other just by luck. And I feel that is the luckiest I have ever been or ever will be. Nikki I love you with all my heart and soul. You have made me the happiest person in the world and would never give you up for anything.

Well, today I put in for a day off for Free Comic Book Day. This is something Kenneth and I do together and he was so upset that we missed it last year that I made sure I took it off this year. For those of you that do not know Free Comic Book Day is the first Saturday in May. As the name implies, Free Comic Book Day is a single day when participating comic book specialty shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops. I forgot how fun the original version was before the updates and expansions. I was luck enough to find a private server that has good admins and fun players. There are people I work with on the same server so I will need to get with them and do some runs.!!

I was one of the original invite beta testers for the game. Wait.. did I just say 2004? Wow eleven year, it is hard to believe. Even though I have not got the last expansion pack as of yet and there is a new one getting ready to come out I still play on and off. But with that being said there has been rumors for years that they were going to make a W.o.W. movie. And they have finally done that. I have watched the trailer a few times and just sit here in my chair in awe of what I am seeing. (more…)
That’s right, its that time of the year again. The big Holiday Season. Thanksgiving, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Christmas and New Years. This is the busiest time of the year for families. Go here, go there, visit this person, visit that person. As some of you know I am not much of a visiting person. I prefer the phone or chatting on the computer more than going out to visit. I mean come on if we go out I have to put pants on. I hate doing that! Now if I could go “Sans-Pants” then I might think about it. But I doubt if that will happen. The stores look at you weird and then they have to talk to you. This whole “Sir, you can be in here without pants on” is bull shit. BULL SHIT I SAY! That is why I don’t really go to the Christmas parties for work because of the whole must wear pants deal. But enough about me lets get down to what is really the big issue of the season.
That is right over this stupid red cup. People are all going “OMG the red cup does not say Merry <Insert your Holiday here>”. Or “OMG it is not holiday realated”. Here is what I say. Shut the hell up and drink your coffee! If you do not like the cup then go the hell somewhere else. DO you know what that means to me? That’s right less of a line in front of me at Starbucks! So please to all those whiny little bitchs and hipster kids out there quit your bitching, get a haircut, put on some nice clothes that cover your ass and does not give you moose knuckle and let me enjoy my coffee in peace.
Ok I know this is a little long winded for me but hey I get this way sometimes. So in closing all I have to say is “Up with Cups and Down with Pants!”
